Really isn't important to the whole story, Lester's come up wasn't real, he took the energy Malvo gave him but he was never really about that life.

In the end both got GOT by their egos/stupididy.
Lester by approaching malvo when he was WINNING. Malvo warned him, lester felt like a god and kept trying to show malvo how he "came up". Got on the elevator and everything changed.
Malvo by jumping the gun (no pun) and offing everybody on the elevator. Should had just brough lester aside and just said i think its best for both sides if we just move on. But nah, he offed the 2 white wiminz and the dude who had a bounty. Which cause a chain reaction. It was malvo showing lester I'm not one to **** with, dont you remember?!
But hey, lester had his 15 mins. But in the end, the same doofy, punk *** lester got him iced. (swidt?)

It wasn't implied. For a brief moment it looked like she was feeling him, but then she left. The only revenge smashing he did was when he finally got up the moxie to make a boss move and took down Hess's wife.

It looked like for a second, and there was that awkward silence right before either she or Lester said about having to go do something. Either way it was an option for him, I mean she did say how you go cheat on Miss something forgot the pageant

I think undoubtedly Lester could have if he wanted to. The implication was that she was kinda down. And the writers/director wanted us to know that for a second it was a possibility. I know watching it, I was like "oh no, don't do it!" (to the wife). But they didn't.
She went to give him some things that belonged to his brother and for a second it seems like he's going to get something else that used to "belong" to his brother, but it's a false alarm.
