FX' Fargo Sunday 10PM ET : Season 4 Episode 8 "The Nadir" Starring Chris Rock 11/08/20

bruh, just imagine coming home to that same scenario Todd had to...

man, Dunst is legit dumb/stupid/insane. The trailer didn't do it for me, but the premiere was very well done.

pretty much co-signing with what everyone's saying...

If everyone hated Kirsten's casting, they'll probably all hate her character too!  She is crazy!

And I liked how they stuffed all the exposition in the 1st episode... laid down everything with the 3 (or 4!) murders.

Interesting intro with the Indian and mention of Ronald Reagan during his actor days... I wonder where that's headed.

Todd!

I actually like her character for her craziness. I've only hated Kirsten in a few roles and the overall hype when ppl were acting like she was hot. Acting wise she's probably really good.

Agree on Todd's reactions. I really don't know how I would even react to each lie and then the revelations of what's going on. Can't disagree with his bewilderment. Went from hit a deer, is my wife okay?, deer might still be alive in the garage making noise, that's not a deer, there's half dead dude in my garage, I'm being attacked, now I just killed a man.

The part after where she convinced him to cover it up I couldn't jive with it :lol This whole thing is ALL her fault :lol :{

On another note, I'm shocked the rest of yall aint puzzled and talking about that damn UFO :lol

Unless that coke was cut with peyote and bath salts I don't know how his hallucination could be so severe :lol

Maybe had he suffered a lot of blood loss from the knife wound but he didn't.

Dude has bad aim. I thought he hit everyone in the shoulder at the diner at first. He had that accurate headshot on the poor waitress outside though. :(

Made no sense for the cook to run at him screaming or for the judge to not put a hole in the shooter's neck.

I thought the person who ran him over was going to be a bad mojo.

I'm a fan of Jeffery Donovan so I hope he flourishes.

If I was todd, I dunno if I would have even checked the noise in the garage without first finishing that good food. It'll take a lot to make me stop eating some Hamburger Helper and tater tots. dunst is a good wife for making that. Then she was offering sex so he wouldn't check the garage :smokin . A full stomach and shooting off a few rounds would be a good night.

Todd stays morbidly ruthless and routine in this. Son just dismembering a body like it's an everyday thing. The whole cleaning and then later in the butcher shop reminded me of the Breaking Bad get rid of a dead body scenes and montages but only way more depressing and sad :lol

:lol @ this super polite black guy gangsta with a hint of Malvo the way he's getting existential about the world.

Made no sense for the cook to run at him screaming or for the judge to not put a hole in the shooter's neck.
She was already shot at that point. She was lucky to even get the knife in his back.

^^^^^^^
So i
kirsten dunst character was crazy but stuff like that happens in real life

the cook was so dumb, bringing a fry pan to gunfight and screaming all the way :lol

the judge was funny too how she just rose back up from the dead, but she shoulda stabbed him in the back of his skull :{

my man todd is back too and he gained weight :eek

okay then :rollin

I said the same thing, why not stab dude straight in the head :{. I've also binged watch all 5 season of TWD since September, so my opinion might be biased :lol

:lol  Oh right!  There has to be some rational explanation to it!

Maybe I looked away during this, but I don't recall seeing any UFO.

That black cook screaming like a damn maniac :{. He could have gotten the drop on dude by being stealthy and using his football skills to attack dude. Even if he didn't have them, there was no reason for that screaming. All he had to do was creep up on him an bash his head in with that frying pan.

Kirstin's character is funny as hell :lol. I swore she was having an affair. After not giving Todd any yams for god knows how long, she was ready to do it right there in the kitchen. I don't know how she was able to drive home with that body in her windshield. Maybe she was afraid someone would drive by while she attempted to remove him. I can't call call it.

Okay then............................................

Right before he gets hit by the car he sees a UFO. It lasted for like almost a full minute.

Don't make me out to be crazy. Watch the ep again :lol

Was he standing in the road or still in the parking lot? If she was going to eat some waffles I hope she'd bring some back for fat todd to eat.

He was following that UFO and wandered out onto the road... which was when she ran him over.

It was kinda X-Files like... 3 bight lights hovering, moving really fast... that's a UFO alright!

Todd is creepy as hell... !  Calmly making Rye burgers!

When little Molly was building a snowman, her mom asked her what she was gonna name the snowman... she said Billy Bob I think... and shout-out to Malvo!

Todd is like a more grown up version of himself on BB so far. He got the weird nice guy side and all that.

If it wasn't set in the 70s I'd say Todd is the same guy in Fargo :lol. Like maybe Jesse didn't completely break his neck, Todd crawled away to hide when the cops came and then after some rehab moved to Minnesota.

These cops suck. If it wasn't for his daughter and wife they wouldn't have found the murder weapon until the snow melted. Maybe they wouldn't have ever found it.

Cops are of the same caliber of cops of S1.

If anything Ted Danson's character seems more intimidating or at least can put on a good bluff.

As far as detective work well it doesn't seem like a whole lot of certain crimes go down there often like in other shows where it's a city that we're all use to.

This is a focus on the other side. Think of all those movies and tv shows where it's the FBI or city cops taking over jurisdiction of the hick area or the middle of nowhere and those guys are just in the background wearing those hats.

This how they solve crimes :lol

i'm enjoying this season so far. thought i'd be really disappointed, especially with the cast, but first 2 eps are good.

im loving bokeem woodbine in this, hopefully this can rejumpstart his career

i think bear is gonna be the loose cannon/killer this season
nerd.gif

okay then

That thick chick from S1 was a decent cop if I remember correctly she never gave up. The key & peele fbi guys were funny. The best was when billy bob flexed on colon hanks the first time they met. Hd him shook.

Wasn't feeling season 1 and not really into the 2nd. Will keep watching, I keep watching I don't think Fargo is my cup of tea doe.

if you didn't like season 1 you should stop watching. that was a masterpiece.

agreed on bokeem. highly enjoyable performance so far. old lady from designing women doing a pretty convincing job so far too.

Another good episode.  Lots of confrontation and showdowns... Cool to see that Lou will back down to no one.

I also liked how Betsy's (I think that's her name?) theory is basically spot-on....

Guess it runs in the family!

And an interesting side-plot on the UFO siting!

Poor typewriter-guy.
