FX' Fargo Sunday 10PM ET : Season 4 Episode 8 "The Nadir" Starring Chris Rock 11/08/20

Anybody else feel the police chief was corrupt at first? Specially after he wanted to go to the house instead of the female cop. Just the vibe he gave off was sketchy
He gave me a weird vibe but I don't think he was dirty. Just look how he reacted once he saw the blood. I think it was just the actor and he was told to play this kind of silent thinking nice type. Don't want no trouble but will do his job. He kinda seemed un-phased by Hess death and the naked dude who froze to death.

Yeah I was gonna ask the same question. I think it's multiple season but Billy Bob won't be returning. Might be a whole other story in the same setting.

This is a limited run show, 10 episodes. It's based on a true story...kind of.

'As bracing as the snowy vistas in the movie on which it is based, FX’s “Fargo” quickly establishes itself as its own property, possessing the tone and style of the rightly admired Coen brothers classic, but pursuing a new tawdry true-crime tale, albeit in similar environs. The limited series also goes far out on a limb in proclaiming its veracity, saying its story’s being told “exactly as it occurred” — a claim that invites skepticism (artistic license has a way of encroaching), but does nothing to cool the passion the show should inspire. Boasting a stellar cast and hypnotic tone, is “Fargo” worth a 10-episode commitment? You betcha'

the director called it a 10 hour movie so 10 episodes?

he wants to do a second season but with a whole new story.

I guess this format is the new thing after True Detective.

Yes Malvo trolling on new levels. :lol

He's only living to create chaos either actively or passively.

You knew that from the first convo he had with Lester in the hospital.

Didn't read a lot of the posts to avoid spoilers, but I'm kinda interested in watching this show, but never saw the movie.  Do I need to?  Should I?

You don't need to.

I'd finish the show first.. since it's only a only season type deal. Then watch the movie, both are recommended. They're a bit unrelated..

Ah, didn't know it was a 1-season deal... a mini-series, I guess?

Good lookin' out.

Yep, mini-series. I think next season will have new characters/story.. if there is one. No problem.

Last nights episode though.........

:hat :hat

What Malvo did to Stavros at the end. :x :eek :lol

I'm convinced my man is actually Satan.

Molly & Gus bout to form the tag team. :hat

Lester is all lost in the game man, too many moving parts in his situation right now.

Wanna see Numbers & Wrench go head to head with Malvo.

ha. that interplay was one of the highlights of the ep for me. it almost reminded me of the scene in the original movie where margie went to meet with the asian guy.
