Going to Cali....vol.first time and have no idea what spots to hit up

Too all those that have been to Cali I would appreciate if I could get some info on some spots to check out while in town. Ima be in San Diego for a fews days then plan on driving up to los angeles for a few days.This is my first visit to the west coast and i want to enjoy this trip to the fullest.

Looking to check out the beach/food/women/bars/clubs/strip joints...anything poppin

FYI: ill be out there april 16-23

because of coachella there should be a lot of random concerts up and down the coast
