I need something for music and viewing videos. Microsoft traces what you listen/rip/watch for possible prosecution/and sells the information fyi so im lookingfor something else.

Yeah...right....Anyways there arent to many programs that focus on being good at both music management and video players. I use seperate programs.MeidaMonkey for Music Management and Meida Player Classic for video playback.

VLC for video and Audio. i dont think you can make audio playlists though.

Anyone know any good players to play .mkv files?
The HD-DVD/Blu Ray rips look real crisp but the sound is off; and there is major lag.
Do I need a super computer just to play these things?
