OP look up the Nabi Kids Tablet. Its inexpensive and looks pretty well put together.

I got my 6 yr old son a iPad 1. Just get the otter box case and your good. Just load it up with a bunch of learning games, movies and a few things she like and she'll be good

just wondering. if you get an ipad for your <10 year old kid what are you gonna give him/her for their next birthday or christmas.
