Yeah if you've got a mono get rid of that *+!+.
To be honest, I'd rather my guy to have natural ones, tidyish, none of that flicking out stuff lol. Most guys (generally speaking) don't need to have anything done.

Anything more than fixin a unibrow is OD IMO. No need to shape them or clean them up anymore.
