What can I expect? I don't have apple care and set up the appt. through my iphone.

Basically the cd/dvd drive is no longer reading disks properly and will just spit them out or give me some read error.

Should I expect to pay an arm and a leg? Anyone have any ideas if there is a way to remedy this? Couldn't find anything on the net other than see a specialist. lol
