Yeah they curved with the baby who lost her baby. I thought she would be a bigger part of the show too. She's the first person we see when the show started right?
Right

I just remembered Gladys begged for her life near the end and Patti over here lying talking about she was okay with it and down.
LinkWas The Leftover Marketed Wrong by HBO?
By Josh Hil
One thing that HBO has done well at the moment is market their shows in a subtle yet easily digestible way. Shows like Game of Thrones, True Blood and Boardwalk Empire are all very easy to understand concepts that spider web into more deep and intricate plotlines and storylines.
When it comes to The Leftovers though, things got reversed, as the concept of the show is extremely ambitious while things develop at a much slower rate. True Detective ran into this a bit at the beginning of the series but word of mouth marketing and smart marketing from HBO helped lead folks in the right direction.
The Leftovers hasn’t had that, as most people you try to talk to about the show who haven’t dug into it either don’t know what the series is (which is bad) or they think the show is about people disappearing (which is worse).
It’s one thing to not know what the show is, which is a failure in marketing by HBO, but it’s another thing to think that the show is about one thing when it’s actually about something different. While that’s the point of the show — the disappearance incident is a MacGuffin that sets in motion that real series — you can’t disguise it so much that people get confused from the get-go.
Not every television viewer is brilliant, and some need to have their hands held. There’s a limit to hand holding with television shows but there has to be an effort made to make sure people understand the show and that doesn’t seem to have happened with HBO and The Leftovers.
Correct .. but it doesnt mean that Kevin could be hallucinating and Patti was entertaining himThe dog killer is a real person. Not an alter ego. Several ppl have acknowledged his existence. Patti even talks about how they researched him and that they can't find anything on him so he's basically a ghost.
yeah you right but hey .. he could have blacked out for a few minutes and they didnt show it. Anyways past that... I still wanna know what that guys deal is though why he's so mysterious and creepyHe has to be real.
Even if Patti was playing along it wouldn't make sense for her to say what she said about dude being a ghost.
Also, again, that would mean Garvey hallucinated being in the woods finding his shirts and was really tying up Patti, strapping her down tighter and putting the bag over her head to kill her, went outside, stopped hallucinating, and then ran back inside to have a fake fight with himselfbefore he eventually saved her.
Liv Tyler keep making my thoughts run in this show. Seem like that quiet type that can go hamLiv Tyler started talking again...you can't win 'em all.
Sadly, with that development, Liv Tyler started talking again...you can't win 'em all.
When they just started off with her screaming and I realized it was her I was like damn that didn't take longI say, instead of stepping back to try and figure the big picture, let's just focus on the small, microscopic things.

I'm glad Jill joined the GR. She is truly the Meg of the show, and now we don't have to suffer hearing her talk, hooray!!! Sadly, with that development, Liv Tyler started talking again...you can't win 'em all.
Well on his way out he was talking to himself so I figure he's part of the crazy crew with Garvey's dad who have voices and get told orders or w/e.yeah you right but hey .. he could have blacked out for a few minutes and they didnt show it. Anyways past that... I still wanna know what that guys deal is though why he's so mysterious and creepyHe has to be real.

Who ever a page back made that connection with Kevin and Tom though may be on to something
The episode gave some answers in its own little way.
There are still frustrating parts about this show. EVERYTHING has to be a mystery. Even small stuff, like the daughter finding Nora's gun and crying. It's not 100% clear why she breaks down or even cares about the gun so much. When almost every scene is written to make you ask "what's going on here?" it gets frustrating.
I'm not sure what to make of the GR's intentions. Right now they just seem lame.

But then again some of the officers and a forensic guy or something were talking to him when Gladys was stoned ...
Yeah they did but that's cuz it was actually Norton doing it all and he imagined himself next to him. Every scene with ppl talking to Durden it's cuz he's in the driver seat of the body while the main personality is on the side having this hallucinating out of body continuous experience thinking there's two different ppl when there isn't. I guess the main thing you'd have to look for there is how nobody interacts with Norton's character.Correct .. but it doesnt mean that Kevin could be hallucinating and Patti was entertaining himThe dog killer is a real person. Maybe it's like a Fight Club like thing. Did people in the movie interact with Tyler Durden when he was onscreen? I can't remember.
