Healthcare workers and people that stand on your feet all day, what shoes are you wearing?

Currently wearing black/white flyknit 1's, might grab a pair of huarache's though. Depending on your scrubs, it might not look the best with low top shoes and baggy scrubs, but it's not a fashion contest. Fortunately, my scrubs are tapered.
A lot of the nurses and MDs here wear ugly running shoes and Frees. Only the ones that are into sneakers wear Flyknits.
Nailed it exactly.

Been wearing these insoles in my ball shoes for the past six years and they should be good if you're on your feet all day. I think you can pick them up in most sneaker stores and I know you can online.

They're extremely comfortable and durable, a little springy, but as a side note they are a little thick.

I need to wear dress shoes and i stand most of the time.

i got used to it now it's all good.

still thinking about getting some Cole han,

But with sneakers? Boost, Roshes, anything lunar (flyknit, lunarglide). All good picks.

you workday will instantly improve.

I gotta walk around a cement dock for around 4 hours a day. Last years wheats ain't cutting it no more. When I'm done outside I go to my office and walk around in my socks, any ideas for the boot wearing dudes? I kinda wanna get some lower cut steel toe joints.

^ man i don't know about steel toes...i searched forever for some comfortable steel toes when i was in the service.

the best advice i can give you is find some that fit you the best and get some good sole inserts.

I just copped these. Not expensive and super comfortable. I work on a farm also and rock these. I don't know how long they'll last compared to red wings but definitely on par with thorogoods. Chippewa rodeo. If they last a while I'll never buy another pair of redwings for work.

If sneakers are an option, Adidas Energy Boosts or Ultraboosts are good money.

The hype on these is legit. Easily the most comfy sneaker I've encountered.

I have two pairs of Danskos but I truly dont find them to be that comfortable. They are easy to slip on and off though. This past year I wound up just wearing a pair of new balance. My shoes that I wear to work dont make it into my house.:x Dont want to wear my Js or other good shoes to work.

Once my J's or other nice shoes get beat up I convert them to work shoes and add insoles. I never liked Danskos

But now I'm sitting down almost all day so it doesn't matter

The absolute best shoe. Firm with alot of support but the have alot of cushioning. Just still high as new on eBay and other sited. I'm a RN at a nursing home and manage 60 residents. I weigh 215. But the key is a good rotation and not letting your feet get use to a particular shoe. I just know when to do a firm or soft shoe. Also, I prefer a slightly used shoe so it's already broke in.

I work at the hospital and currently wear some Asics.

Nikes were making my feet and knees sore as hell. Seems like most the guys that I see around the hospital wear Asics, Brooks, New Balance, Mizuno, etc.

My thing is i need support and cushioning. Free's and nylon upper have me feeling like my foot is all over the place. i wore a pair of Asics for basic Traininf=g when i was in the military as a running shoe and it was Heaven but I was 20lbs lighter. Now it's like a full sole air unit is just the right cushion and firmness gut I have been looking into the Mizuno line because the use to make the best baseball cleats ever.

I'm on my feet all day at Footlocker when I'm working in the stockroom or they need someone on the floor.

I've been wearing my Saint Laurent's SL10H or some Gucci and I'm fine. Feet are a little sore....just kidding they're really sore but I be stylin' on the customers lol
