Bosh played like a whimp last night.  I was not impressed with him.  At least Wade put in some effort.
A few good articles on Yahoo's NBA front page, a Slam writer who was at the game reported this:
BOSTON -- In the Miami Heat locker room before their 88-80 loss to the Boston Celtics Tuesday night, there were two enormous easels (in my notebook it reads, "CHECK OUT THESE F'ING ELABORATE EASELS") with 16 plays on them.
16 plays...man good Lord

If the players don't buy into the system and aren't held accountable you can have 1600 plays but it won't mean jack. Lebron is a great offensive talent, but for some reason he's always struck as a guy who isn't really buying into a system (maybe on defense though). If Bron does decide to do his own thing, what is coach Spoilestra going to do about it? Same exact thing that Mike Brown did in Cleveland...nothing, but maybe write a bout about it 10 years from now after he's lost his job. Miami has HOF players on their roster, but they need a HOF type coach that is going to take them to where they need to go.

Any basketball fan worth anything knows that Miami will have problems this year, especially against a good defensive team, or a team with size. You cannot win championships with two players who HAVE to dominate the ball to be successful. Wade or No. 6 will have to take a backseat to the other, and it's probably gonna be Wade. Problem is he don't have the game to sacrifice being dominant because he has to have the ball in his hands to be effective. It's the only way he's ever played and its going to be hard to reprogram himself, same thing with No. 6

They are soft down low, Chris Bosh is too weak (couldn't do nothing with Garnett, Shaq, or big baby), their bench is trash, no low post players, no players who can consistently run off screens and hit threes or fifteen footers, they only have two players who can legitimately put the ball on the floor and go get buckets, no defensive minded big men, two ball hogs, no defense at point guard or coming off the bench, a coach who has to look over his back all season, and not many players with heart, led by No. 6.

All they did was shoot jumpers last night, and that will not win championships. Will they play better than they did last night most nights, of course. But will they be dominant like everybody think, NO. Team has a lot of holes. Boston did exactly what every other team should do against them, pack the paint, get back on d, and make them a jump shooting team. Take notes other teams.

What's funny to me is that a couple of Months ago, a good amount of people were sayin that Bosh is the best 4 in the game, even ahead of Pau Gasol. Now people are sayin Amare>Bosh

Season's over.  Why bother to play.....

C'mon bro....16 plays and NO system or tempo in place.  They'll hit their stride.  Lebron was on the court by himself (with Wade/Bosh on the bench) with 4 other players who would have trouble getting PT for the UTEP Miners, and he almost single-handedly brings the Heat back into the game after being down by a large margin.  He did that off of talent alone....just wait until he, and the rest of the Heat understand what the hell they should be doing.

The only glaring weakness IMO is the PG position.  I'm not sure how much flexibility they'll have to upgrade over Arroyo or Chalmers.  THATS the weak-link.

As far as Bosh, folks are forgetting that he averaged 24/11 last year.  He dropped 20/13 the last time he went head-to-head vs. Garnett.  Garnett is an excellent defensive player....but there was an air of unfamiliarity and incohesion surronding the Heat as a whole.  You can't judge this team (let alone ANY team) in the NBA off of 1 game.  No matter how many superstars they may have on the roster.

i just dont see wade and lebron meshing well together when stuff hits the fan. they will hold each other back from being the great players they normally are.

Heats will be OK. LeBron just needs some shooters around him. Maybe Riley can pickup a number 2 option and/or a shooter or two at the deadline.

Riley should get Jiri Welsch's agent on the line. . .

Definitely sounds like a lottery team to me.  Hopefully they can bag Kyrie to run the point

every loss from this Heat team will bring a smile to my face.
thing is, i like Bron/Wade/Bosh but all that #!%% talking about winning 7-8 championships and talking about going at the Bulls 72-10 record should not have been said.

they looked really bad last night down 20 in the first half
