Helium Balloons - got a question (prom related)

How long do helium inflated balloons last? If I fill up three balloons with helium tonight around 930, will they stay inflated tomorrow around 930 am? So about12 hrs.

I am using them for a creative prom idea which I actually got from NT.

Any help is appreciated
 
depends how well you seal the hole. 12 hours is pushing it, don't expect them to be floating to the top

i work at a party store. if your talking about mylars you are good for ateast a week. probably a lot more.
if your talkin latex they only last about 12 hours but we (party city) can add solution to latex to make them last a few days.
 
^yes, latex only lasts 8-10 hours. if you add hi-float however, they will last a few days. it only costs around 20 cents extra per balloon if you go to partycity.
