I'm trying to get money that my friend currently in UK. His PayPal has exceeded the daily limit and there's no Western union by him

Any other alternatives?

Check if he has E-Transfer, through his online banking.

Do you both have bank accounts? you can do a wire transfer from bank to bank- just verify the info you will need to provide to the sender.
(Routing number- your banks address - Swift code or IBAN number etc...)
