Where did I say it was the most overrated mob movie ever? I just said it was highly overrated. And Scarface is a steaming pile of crap, regardless of genre.

I prefer Casino over Goodfellas too. Never have 3 hours of my life fly by as quickly as they do whenever I watch Casino. And yes, the overrated Scarface shouldn't even be put in the same category as either of these films. It's a very good movie, but still generally a movie mostly liked by young males in their late teens or early 20s with overblown egos thinking they can take over the world, and a movie that most grow out of.
As for Henry Hill, for someone who was hunted by both the mob as well as karma, he lived a pretty long life. He can't complain. Will watch my Goodfellas blu ray with the Henry Hill commentary track one of these days.

People think Scarface was really a good movie? It was terrible, I was surprised that Pacino even took that role.

Scarface is an awful film overrated by rappers and hip hop moguls relating the "up and comer" story to themselves.

Easliy one of my all-time favorite movies. Need to rewatch it but this is definitely one of those films when its on tv I have no choice but to drop whatever I'm doing.
Still a damn shame it lost out to Dances With Wolves (and they had to offer the mea culpa to Scorcese for the inferior Departed).
And Casino was great too, drags a bit but still doesn't get the praise it rightfully deserves.

Goodfellas is seriously my favorite "serious" movie and Idk how yall prefer casino over goodfellas maybe cause of the ending on goodfellas wasn't all that great?

Henry Hill was super funny on Howard Stern. Dude would always call in drunk and just call people "rats". Haha.
And yes.....Casino > Goodfellas. Casino has so much more depth and just the stort of how the mob controls Vegas is more interesting to me then the same ol' New York mob story. That's my opinion though.
