Lysol and sanitizers and Clorox selling out around my way. Are people cleaning their homes 24:7? Why u need 4 gallons of Lysol?

Someone told me Costco ran out of bottled water and toilet paper around me

Old folks home was probably the worst possible place for covid-19 to hit.

Word, my grandma lives in an assisted living facility and I'm really worried for her. It would run through that place like wildfire, as we've already seen in other countries with institutional spread in hospitals and prisons.
 
 


It is my opinion that the federal government should be picking up the tab for anything the insurance companies don't cover, at least when it comes to testing. Without knowing the details, I'd assume the $3k was more than just the (likely faulty) test kit, but also the entire ER visit. Did he receive any other care, such as IV fluids, meds, etc?

That’s not how insurance works though.

You get a bill, you’re liable for it. Sure, he may be able to negotiate it down or have an agreement to wipe out the charge (unlikely). But to simply say “I’m not paying that” is idiotic. Go ahead and ruin your credit over $3000. :lol:
