my iinitial outlook was pretty optimistic coming into this week... felt like we kind of had a plan. a course of action. a prooof of concept even - with numbers in other countries teethering off.
but on my mandatory commute home from work today in NYC..... the sheer amount of people out and about .... people just cannot grasp the concept man. .. just groups and groups and groups of people everywhere as if the sunshine meant everything was over with....
straight up these cases gonna rise and rise until the hospitals and testing sites just turn people away... if that aint happen already.
im not one to be supremely paranoid but damn people really just cant get it together. not a debbie downer but just seeing that was real disheartening. this is literally while Gov Cuomo is stating the dramatic exponential increases and the WHO giving out somber remarks.
how do we deal with this in a practical sense? people just cannot stay home
