So my uncle passed away this morning.Hey guys, important PSA
I think now is a good time to talk to your older relatives. Parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents.
20 people died at a retirement home about 2 hours from me.
4 people died at a retirement home 5 minutes from me.
my sisters just told me she intubated 17 people from around my area yesterday.
my uncle in dallas is a diabetic. I found out he been in a coma for the last 2 days due to organ failure and diabetes related causes. He’s currently in the hospital alone unconcious because of covid-19. His wife can’t eve Be with him, and the doctors have to FaceTime her.
I’ve come to accept he’s probably not gonna make it.
don’t worry about me, I’m fine. I don’t need any words of comfort or anything.
Just putting it out there, that if you haven’t talked to your loved ones in a bit, especially the older ones with health complications, now would probably be a good time to do that.
they’re currently announcing the model on tv right now for my province (state). 3k-15k will probably die during the duration of this pandemic. Time frame stretching to A possible 2 years.
same model shows that 80k will probably get it.
1,600 Deaths possible a month from now
My condolences famSo my uncle passed away this morning.
He died in the hospital alone.
Due to covid-19 his wife wasn't allowed to be with him.
My parents can't fly to Dallas to help him wife mourn, and figure out the logistics.
Can't have a funeral.
So they're gonna cremate him and bring his ashes back to Canada once the pandemic is over.
I'm ok, but I feel bad for my uncle that he had to die alone. He really tried to help me out in life.
He was 58.
My uncle died of organ failure related to diabetes.
If you have family who is older and at risk, try to do what you can to look after them. even if it has to be from a distance.
Being hospitalized at a time like this is bad.

spoke to a couple of friends and family members and they said residents are getting a little too complacent and comfortable, getting back to going about their normal lives. There's definitely some concern people think they are "safe."Originally from Taiwan and so glad they've done a great job. I remember being a kid worrying about my relatives in Taiwan during SARS.
Free Taiwan, **** the WHO, **** the Chinese government
Throw a bandanna, scarf, etc over it!fully ready to be yelled at for wearing a N95 mask out in public now, at least in my neighborhood. The experts emphatically mention not to wear them (and save them for the health professionals) and wear some type of cloth is gonna make some people to feel the need to talk down/question anyone wearing N95 masks.
BRING IT
thought about that. Looking for the neck warmers i would wear when in the snow. Its loose and would do a great job of covering it.Throw a bandanna, scarf, etc over it!
whatever you gotta do to protect yourself, rain or shine. When the weather warms and if we go into the summer with this it’s going to weird having to cover up your face if you don’t have a mask.
We going to be wearing scarfs over short sleeves?
You getting bored yet?whatever you gotta do to protect yourself, rain or shine.
She just had to show off her eyebrowsNot sure if all these selfies are necessary tho
