i think the lack of foot traffic more has to do with many buying online
for example, nordstrom has like extra 40% off bringing the discounts to 80% in some items including some prada pieces at around 70% off
but i was the mall yesterday and there was a line to get into LV, Tiffany, Cartier, Gucci, etc...
the nordstrom sale shelves are pretty empty on both mens and womens and i asked the sales associate and they said most pieces were shipped out from online orders

Oh great, Saks gets to taint other retailers with their ****** customer service. 
Been waiting on a refund from Saks on an item I returned a MONTH ago. Apparently they changed their return policy to 30 days processing time after they reported financial trouble not long ago. And they charged me $10 to return it lol. Saks is unserious as hell at this point.

^ last I heard was the 2nd. It's all up on the website as "coming soon". Most of the items probably won't even be available online knowing LV. I'm officially over this release lol.

LV releases are on Thursdays most of the time, so the 2nd checks out. Whatever is available will probably go live some random *** time early in the AM on Thursday.

that was a struggle to order a single item on the LV website
i must have tried the checkout at least a dozen times and kept getting kicked out and removing the item off the cart

woke up and was having breakfast and just kept refreshing on the ipad til i got through, if i didnt get through it before my breakfast was finished i probably wouldve given up too
it is a womens hat though and i have a giant noggin so hopefully it fits

Just go to the store and wait in line. They may not have everything in stock but will show you whatever they have. Relatively painless process other than the waiting.

Copped the burgundy one and the dude was telling me about how they have a monaco exclusive one so i said why not. Bro did not tell me it was like an extra 150eu for those little *** stripes.

If you’re going to Paris - you can go to the flagship store on Rue Saint Honore. This is Winter sale season for Paris - January to February, it can get busy in all stores.
If your goal is to shop, Paris is the way to go, being your VAT refund is about 12%.
The trip is 2 hours 20 mins each way on the high speed train. Get your ticket early if you can. Eurostar would be best.
