How come only Phil Jackson coached teams had "Sunday's Bests"?

I don't think that list is updated; it has Miami at #10.

I think the Bulls pinstripes and the Lakers Sunday whites are both

Did the Bulls only wear their pinstripes on Sundays?
I seem to remember seeing it on other days as well.

Also, you may forget - but Rudy T. and Frank Hamblen also coached the Lakers in whites.

Stoked to see the Raptors at No.9 .... We have to make sure us Canadians hold on to atleast one team haha.

I remember that Slam issue. I was trying to look for that cover to post up instead of that pic of the jersey, but I couldn't find it. You wouldn't happen to have it would you?

I remember going to games in the Forum and the lights were dimmed and at Staples as well. Staples is a whole lot darker in my opinion. On TV, you would never think that the lights are dimmed at the Forum too unless you're actually there in person.

Check my avy, I don't think I have the wallpaper on my computer though

that sound sort of right. i dont know for sure, but in my old video game, nba2k2, only about 7 teams had some sort of 3rd/sunday jersey.

utah had some black alternates/miami had some reds/ sacramento in the jwill days had some black 3rd jerseys/ indy had their yellow pinstripes/ chicago had someblack alternates in the game/sixers had their blue sundays.. i feel that was the originial intent way back when but since has evolved. the lakers to this daymay very well be the only team with that sunday designated jersey seeing as how most teams butcher and wear almost anything nightly

it was truely a rarity in sports back just 6 years ago. now every team has 5-6 different combinations.

The Lakers copied the Knicks with the court focus lighting. They used to only do that in the Garden.

I like the current Laker uniforms, but I'd like to see the Lakers change their uniforms if we win the Finals... That shiny material that the Warriors andNuggets use would be

imo.

But does anyone remember that one game where their unis said "LOS LAKERS?" Any info on why they wore those for that one game

^Those jerseys were pretty dope IMO. They were used by teams with a large Hispanic community, such as teams as like the Lakers, Suns, Spurs, Heat, and someothers. Hence, they used the "Los Lakers" jerseys for Latina night, which was a Sunday night game against the Warriors. The Lakers lost in the game,so maybe that's the last we will see of them.

I still think the white Lakers Jersey and the black/red pinstripe bulls jerseys are the best in the NBA by far

It's not the same.

Oh, that's dope. I didn't know Madison Square Garden dimed the lights too. It makes the audience feel like they're watching a theatrical event.

indeed. its a greek tragedy night in night out.

I knew detroit led the league in attendance. They make it a point of emphasis every game..even tho i been to a couple games where there are plenty of emptyseats.

Lakers fans are secretly trying to keep that season out our memory.

I'm glad you said it

I personally don't like the dimmed lighting.

I thought the Lakers brought in the dimmed lights after MSG did it. Didnt the Knicks start doing that around 2000, while the Lakers only started nearly 2 yearsago?

At least, thats what I remember; LA copied what NY did.

But, I could be wrong.
