not all the time because when i worked in the willsonville DC everyone start out as a Shoe inspector. and one of the things they do is check forshoe that can be considered B grades. most of the shoes go on and get sent back to other stores like footlockes or FNL but some dont make the cut the secondtime and are sent over to other people in line who job is to try and clean them up real quickly like within 5 mins a shoe. if the can get it clean they justmark it b grade. or INPERFECT COSMECTICS. and when they have enought of a style they ship them out to the Factory stores.Originally Posted by abernja

B-grades get stamped straight off the assembly line by Quality Control. What sense would it make to mark shoes that are poor sellers at retail B-grades AFTER they've already been sitting in stores for a few months? None.
Poor selling shoes that get sent back don't get marked b-grade. They are RTV'd then re-distributed to other companies, sent to be sold overseas, or to Nike outlets.
