uhh... Jamison is an All-Star. and he has been averaging close to 20 and 10 the past couple years. so unless you don't know anything about the NBA, Jamison is a notable player.

does anyone else think Tmac will eventually be forced to retire due to injury?

Not really.

Kobe aint retiring til he gets at least 5 titles and he'll probably go after Kareem's scoring record. With the way he keeps himself ingood condition and him relying more and more on his J, he'll be around for a while. It'll be a sad day though when Shaq, Timmy, Kobe, AI, KG, etc. areall gone. I'll probably stop watching

@ anybody thinking Kobe is gonna retire in the next 4-5 years. I will be shocked if Kobe retires before he's 38 or so.

word... Lebron, Wade, Paul, Dwight and all these young guys are great, but i will always have respect for the LEGENDS.

i don't even know what i'll do the day Tim Duncan retires.

hope duncan retires while still on top of his game. one of the classiest dudes to ever take to the court, hes not very physically imposing as other bigs arebut he still dominated the game.

AI will call it quits within a year or two.

Finley and Bowen... them 2 dudes seem like they will try to play forever. Or at least for as long as Duncan is still playing.

Tracy Mcgrady is almost 30 but the way things look, he is no longer a superstar, and if injury persist he will only be productive for a few more years.

garnett (32) ....4 years
pierce (31) .....4
allen (33) ......3 depending on how age will affect his stroke he could play forever
carter (32) .....2
marion (30)...5 he wont ever touch 20 10 again but 15 8 for a few more years possible
hamilton (31) ...5 style of play will give him longevity
iverson (33) ....3
jamison (32) ...3
nowitzki (30) ....6
kidd (35) ....3
duncan (32) ....3
s jackson (30) ....4

word. i know hes averaging like 20 a game or something like that but for some reason i feel he doesnt belong on that list. maybe because he was never anall-star. hes always been a glorified role player to me even though hes the captain of the warriors.

^^well i was just going through every single roster and started picking names up

i felt that was the only questionable one
ohwell.gif
. i was pretty close toadding jason terry as well but said **** it

i dont know what the spurs are gonna look like when duncan retires...

fan's wishful thinking

the list is for playing at their highest level for how many more years. not saying they're going to retire after that number of years.

-1 kobe homer. CHEA

I give Kobe about 6 more years max. He got a lot of miles on him already. The good thing about kobe is that he got a jumpshot so he can rely on that later onbut I doubted he can play on championship level at 34-35 years old.

finally not a boneheaded laker fan... about time

To compare, I think you should add the ages former all-stars ((or legends) retired at.

Stockton - 41
Malone - 42
Payton - 39
Jordan - 40
Pippen - 39

garnett (32) 6 years
pierce (31) 6 years
allen (33)5 years
carter (32) 4 years
marion (30)8 years
hamilton (31)8 years
iverson (33)10 years
jamison (32)who cares
nowitzki (30)10 years
kidd (35)3 years
duncan (32)4 years
s jackson (30)6 years
bryant (30)forever
nash (35)6 years
billups (32)6 years

edit-

wallace (34)4 years
shaq (37) 4 years

greg oden 2 yrs.

but seriously Im not sure about Shaq as far as desire to play for the Suns - especially the way it looks right now with that franchise. The guy is a winnerwherever he goes. I don't know how much Steve Kerr can get out of him.
