The prices for getting haircuts are crazy... They don't even do that much to be charging 20-25 dollars. I know why everyone is growing dreads now.

DC: $25 for a haircut and a simple $$% beard trim.
       $10 for a shape-up

Yeah i used to pay 15 and leave 5 tip, found a doper barber that charges 20, i gives him no tip. You nice, but sorry. I miss nyc, 12 bucks for the sharpest %@@% with room for tip.

I use to pay 15 including tip but my new barber shop charges 8 so I give em 10.

$8 for shape up, $15 for a cut. but in NY, dudes will try to charge you for anything extra like i asked my barber to taper my line up that would've generally been $8. i gave him the a $20 bill and he gave me back $16 in change. i walked out the shop, and 5 seconds later he runs out asking, "did you get a haircut? a taper counts as a cut, that's $20." i told him i'd get him next time 

haven't went back yet.

Yeah in NYC prices for a cut are on the rise again... $25 and up is starting to be what the norm might be in the future.

I just always give $20... been going to my barber for years, but I'm trying to dead him.

I usually get a taper, take down my hair a little if it's to long and a shaped up all around including beard... no razor though.

Nah that was me bro. $7 for a cut, sideburn and beard trim if you want it, back rub at the end, and she'll put her ******* on the side of the face when she reaches around to the other side of you while doing the line. They always @@%$ up my sideburns though, but it's no biggie because mine grow in so fast it wouldn't make sense to get a fade there or that point thingy all brothas be doing anyways because it'll be ashy with 12 hrs with newgrowth

The @@%$ yall paying $20 for if you're black? !!@* is ridiculously simple. You'd be better off just buying an Andis Professional for like $55 and then do the cut yourself and then just go in and have them do your lines and any fades or tapers you might want.
