How much of a story was the Melky & Mary Carey hotel video in NY?

I do not remember there being a post on NT about it, but I was wondering was it a big deal in NY? Basically its a short video clip of pornstar Mary Carey(sounding like she was drunk/high) interview Melky in a hotel room. It is a pretty funny clip and has a few quoteables, " I like da women".
