So you're looking around for sneakers, and you see a guy (https://www.instagram.com/thatguywithjays/) who has thousands of followers, uses paypal and sells legit shoes for super cheap.

1. his followers are most likely bought. how can there tens of thousands of followers  but only a few comments and likes?

2. His photos are stolen from random ebay listings by random people. Here are three different listings and his shoes

his "listing":

real listing: http://www.ebay.com/itm/112109106423

his "listing":

3. When it's time to pay, you go through friends and family paypal gift. This means that since you gifted him the money you're not entitled to crap. You won't be getting your shoes. You will soon be blocked by him on Instagram and there will be no way to reach him.

4. The address may be wrong. I remember when my friend fell for this, the "address" of the scammer was in fact a Foot Locker's address, not a sneaker resell store.

Unfortunately, this scam happened to my friend, I want people to know

No paypal gifting. No team early. This stuff should be common sense, but you see these people all over ig so people must be paying them. 1 dude i saw on ig been selling fsr of the yeezys that aren't rumored to release for another month. This was a few weeks ago. With a rep box no less. His followers swear he's legit. I just shook my head and moved on.
