What is killing me is that just a few months ago it was ASAP/French sound to southern to really put NYC on (Completely False but that's a whole other flow) ... Now someone from NYC actually sticks to his roots 100% and wants to keep an NYC sound and now he's corny for repping where he's from... where's the logic?

As if ATL hasn't been pushing the "New Atlanta" movement for about a year now because the game done left them too. EVERY region has their big players and Vets and every region has someone shining right now but instead of joining that ya'll are constantly trying to downplay NYC in everything and it's to us because no matter what your angry little post say, NYC is always going to be relevant in hiphop that will NEVER change so just let it go and enjoy your region while we enjoy ours

I respect Troy's grind. He's not d riding and looking for co-signs like a lot of new dudes out right now. I slept on him for a while cuz all his features he sounded like a poor mans mix of Max and 50.but after I listened to his New York project a few times I couldn't front, **** is real good. I don't think he's NY's savior or anything but he makes some dope stuff. I rather bump his music than any of those ASAP Mob/Bone Thugs/3-6 Mafia sounding *** _'s.

Troy ave, Action Bronson, A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Twelvy, French/ chinx etc etc all have very NYC factors to their music and they all have different sounds. When Rocky or French does something with southern elements tied in they are considered biting.

When Troy or Bronson stick to a certain kind of production suddenly their not innovative to the culture

Online people like to anoint the hot artist like it's the flavor of the month, and it has been him and Joey. They have their hipster fanbase and it allows them to travel, I'm not mad at it, but offline it's totally different.

That's why I find it funny dude is devoting an article to someone he doesn't like. That's some online new generation stuff, because now you listen to interviews and troll their social media to develop a dislike for people. I don't care about these dudes enough to dislike them. If I don't like your music, I don't listen to it. Instead of trying to champion who he claims he does like. J Live and Meyhem just released projects.
