So many quotable posts in here. Thanks for the advice cause I need it. I don't understand the female species either, OP.
I'm in a situation where... (Long story short.)
I've reconnected with a chick that spoke to a year and a half ago. We went out at the end of November and we were texting every other day. So I waited two weeks before asking her out again. Well three really, cause I let her go to NY to spend Thanksgiving down there with the fam and the next weekend to keep to herself. So I ask her on a Thursday, if she would like to go to a Peruvian restaurant that she herself suggested we should go to on the next date.
She doesn't reply. (Yes, she has the read receipts turned on but just says delivered.)
Then I text her a week later telling her "If your not with me taking you out its cool. Just let me know what the deal is."
Doesn't reply.
And then I waited two weeks until her birthday, which was this past week. And wished her a happy birthday... No reply.
Can someone tell me what the hell happened? I mean this chick had her tongue down my throat on our last date. Also re-confirmed where she would like for us to go next. Told me "Of course I would like to go again, just let me know when you wanna go."
And yo fellas. This chick is baddddddd. I'm talking a 8/10. Dominican. Only thing is, she's short like 5'4.
I hear you but why not respond and say "Hey, sorry I haven't texted you but I am not interested." Or. "hey, I think it would be better off if we kept it on a friendship level."
Why just ignore? Why not let me know what it is? Especially after you asked me to take you out on another date and saying to me via text "Hopefully I'll see you soon."

Don't stress it man, keep it moving. Don't send her anymore texts. Learning to walk away is the best skill i've learned when it comes to women. It actually works to your benefit. More than likely you got into beta, needy, overly clingy mode with the texting. Never be a text buddy. Short banter, setup the next meet. Leave the deep convo for the date, and the all day texting for her girlfriends.
It's just how they are man. Either you learn to maneuver it or stay frustrated.

Text to set up things. Maybe a call or text the day of, but several hours before the date
No answer? Charge it 2 the game
Just straight up texting and i dont get a response? Charge it and keep it movin
I don't bother with another text. If she wanted to answer she would have. Plain and simp. Ppl are busy yes but even the president aint that busy

maybe she was watching a LOTR movie, they run 3+ hours.
i go a whole wknd without texting back some birds, hit em up on monday with " so how was your wknd" and its still gravy.

This, I see so many executives with days completely full of activity running global organizations still find time for the family, friends, working out and charity work. All ol' lightskin got going on is a part time job.
