If the Euro drops any further, will the US Dollar be the GOAT currency?

Question, what is it that made the euro fall so bad?
Was it the whole deal with Greece?
I was looking around spring break at currency trading and figured it would be a good idea, and when they did the Greece bailout or whatever it's called the Euro got even stronger didn't? After that it just started falling.
I have the amount of euros that I would of had if I would of used 10k USD at the time saved onto my computer at home. I'm going to have to check to see how big of a loss it would be now when I get off.

I'm really interested in this type of stuff, but I don't know much of anything regarding it. and the stuff I do know are probably wrong.....where could I read up on investing? Just some books to start off with a basic background on the subject

You may want to lock in now, there's no guarantee it'll continue to drop and it's still better than it was a year ago. Plus banks tack on % over the exchange.

Where you headed?
I'll be spending most of my time in Thassos, I'll be in Athens for a couple of days.
Also I'm spending 3 days in Rome.

Where were you in Greece?

When I first got over here it was like $1.67 ....it was terrible. Our COLA (cost of living allowance) drops along with the Euro but the dollar goes further so I'm happy.

If anyone was planning a trip to the EU now would be a good time.

Oh, so the British Pound suddenly doesn't exist anymore?
"Comin up, used to grab the pound for a dollar. Oversees now prefer the pound over the dollar"

We went to Santorini- Oia and Imerovigli
Then onto Crete for 5 days - in the old port.  Took a day trip to Elafonisi which was by far the best beach I've ever seen in my life.
Spent 2 days in Athens and that was plenty for us.
