I agree that Beans has had the better verse in some of the songs that him and Jay have done together, but how in the world can anybody say Beans was betterthan Jay in What We Do, or For Da Fam?? I was going to say Guess Who's Back but depending on peoples perspectives I can see how someone could go withBeans over Jay.

^on 'What We Do', Jay got him on the flow, Beans with the lyrics...and reverse that for '4 Da Fam'...

how does Jay not get FOR DA FAM, HYPNOTIC , THINK ITS A GAME, OR GUESS WHOS BACK???

"...Guess who's bizzack...
The boy B. Mizzack...
AKA 'Mr. Crack-a-Brick...
I turn a whole one from a half a brick...
Look... I mastered this...
You can smell it once the plastic rips!!!!..."

His delivery and his lyrics put him over the edge...

^on 'What We Do', Jay got him on the flow, Beans with the lyrics...and reverse that for '4 Da Fam'...

Naw, Jay had the better lyrics and flow, Beans anchored that track wit some real talk...

But Free was too far ahead of Jay and Beans on that track...

Gotta give Still Got Love for you to Hov as well

jay had the worst verse on what we do

freeway had one of the best verses in roc-a-fella history on that

and beans $+##%$ slaughtered that track and managed to actually stay with the theme

jay came in with that same diddy bop flow

people went crazy over the louisiana bayou line but let's not forget

"grams still prayin, workin on my nerves, mayne
like, Son, you gotta get your soul cleaned
before they blow them horns like Coltrane
but still i cry tears of a hustler, wipe tears from my mother, pull out beers for her brothers
that's above us, make beds for the babies, tuck kids under covers, buy cribs for they mothers"

if you think anything jay spit was better than that, smh

Ehh I wouldn't say 75 percent but Beans definitely goes hard on a lot of those joints. But you also gotta remember the position Jay was in. What purposewould it serve to try to utterly embarrass one of his protege's on a track? And that's not even to say that Jay took it easy on these tracks, I justdon't think he ever goes into one of them with the mentality "I gotta not get outshined by Beans" or "I'm gonna crush Bleek on thistrack". While on the other hand I'm sure Beanie is thinking I gotta score 50 every time I get on a track with Jay.

Faster than the red ghost, gettin' ghost wit' Pac-Man
One-time know a got a knack to get that change
Leader of the black gang, R-O-C mang
Bang like T-Mac, ski mask air it out
Gotta kill witnesses 'cause Free's beard's stickin' out

dog what does that have to do with the song?

jay came in with them corny similes on a song about regret

that verse would be cool if it was on something else but nah

free starts off by saying "if i get rocked, this #!*! for my kids, $#!#@..."

and jay comes in sounding like he's doing the puff daddy dance in the booth

Are you serious?? The majority of his verse is about regrets, he was just saying it from a different angle, it tie's in with the song ..............

Gotta kill witnesses 'cause Free's beard's stickin' out
Y'all don't want no witness #*$*, we squeeze hammers mang
Bullets breeze by you, like Lousiana mang...
But I gotta feed Tianna mang...
So I move keys you can call me the Piano Man
Rain...sleet, hail...snow man
Slang dough, E, hydro man...

i was thinkin that to myself, jay's verse dealt with the subject at hand.

Beans outshines Hov on damn near every track they get on together...

Thats why Jay doesn't put Beans isn't Jay's right hand man like Kanye

Jay is horrified to be outshined by anybody.... thats why we can't hear much of Beans as we'd like to

75%??? Hmmmm... thats up there, but I will say this... When it comes to outshining a legend, he's done it far more than any other artist has.

For the record.. Guess Who's Back shouldn't even be up for discussion

thats in Sig's win column all day every day

"Keep ya whole hood on flip, like old box springs, pissy mattress +#%@"
