Is ACT-1 personnel services a scam?

I was contacted this morning by a lady named Linda inquiring about my resume and offered me a job.The job pays $15/hr. She apparently works for ACT-1 personnel services, a job placement agency. The only thing is I am not sure how she got my resume. I only post it to jobs I apply to directly, never through an agency.

I really need to know if this is a scam cuz I cannot afford to drive the 30 miles for an appointment.

Phone her back and inquire about how they got your resume...

not a scam. they are a job placement agency that mostly works with microsoft.
