Well some people are idiots. People buy fake/GM pairs all day on eBay/Kixify and are oblivious. At the end of the day, it's your money. I personally wouldn't risk buying a pair a few months before the actual release date. I've personally never ordered a pair from the person you speak of. Early release pairs tend to be slightly different compared to the release day pairs from authorized Nike/Jordan Brand retailers. If you do go that route. I'd suggest paying with PayPal and use a credit card as a back up. That way your covered if in fact the shoes you purchased turn out to be Grey Market fakes.

He's always replying and answering questions about orders,he has endless good reviews and he has great youtube videos,I haven't ordered from him but I have friends that have and their stuff was on point but don't put your money out there if you're weary just go somewhere else
