We had one in one mall in the area in the early 90's, i remember they always used to stand out front giving away free samples. Then probably very early 2000s is when the stand alones started popping up, and then they really blew up around here.

Everyone should download ALL fast food apps. I can pretty much eat for free every day off random rewards or giveaways. Chick-fil-A and Wendy's are the best. Woke up to a free chicken breakfast sandwich. I usually hand out whatever is free to co-workers or to homeless on the way to my office, if I'm not wanting it. They all hook you up on your birthday too.
