- Glory Road

- Hoosiers

- The Program

- The Rookie

- Field of Dreams

- The Natural

- He Got Game

- Tin Cup/Jerry Maguire*

- Major League/Major League II**


*I listed these two together because each one is half sports/half love story. You take the two parts of 'half sports story', and you get one whole sports movie.

** Listed as one 3-hour movie in 2 parts.

Id put Blue Chips up there before He Got Game

If your going for love Bull Durham and love and basketball should be your thing

Got a feeling 42 will be at the top of the sports movie list once its released

Surprised nobody mentioned "Lucas" .

Lucas is a classic more of a coming of age movie.

Two others that havent been mentioned i thought were good were the express and we are marshall. I thought both could have been longer.

Lol sunset park? That movie was dookie.

I used to think that this was a borderline guilty pleasure movie, but not after I learned that Stanley Kubrick really liked it.
