Is there anything better than living in a big city?

Granted this doesn't apply to all big cities, but I think it does for most.

So many amazing options available: entertainment, food, bars, shopping, clubs, housing, and of course, beautiful women everywhere.

no. san diego is where it's at.

but living in small town islands like puerto rico, guam, or hawaii is cool too.

LOVE IT.
The traffic, giant buildings everywhere, crowds of people on the sidewalks.
I can't imagine it any other way...

Best of both world, living in a quiet suburb near a big city

i like la better, i live in sd now though

sd is kinda conservative and boring

la was a lot more fun

also people in hawaii get bored as hell, a lot of them hate it

I've never lived in a big city, but I love going to visit them

It's crazy to me seeing how much stuff goes on and how everyone is doing their own thing on their own agendas.

I want to live in NYC for at least a year at some point in my life.

that's my one knock against SD, everytime I visit, you have to know someone who's having a party and that's basically SD nightlife. If there wassuch a thing, I would've been moved out there already

I haven't seen one valid reason yet for not liking the city.

Traffic? You don't even need a damn car.

Giant buildings? So what?

Crowds of people? More women. Plus, cities aren't that busy, even at night.

There are so many different things to do in big cities. Every area is different.

I would love nothing more than to own a penthouse in the city.

I definitely thought that was sarcasm.

There's nothing to do.

lol it's not like all the young people are conservatives. and true, if you know people, the house parties are where it's at. and there is nightlife ifyou know where to look, from downtown to pq. and don't go by what other people tell you about island life... every experience is different.

you say this now.

but in 10-15 years, you will probably want to live in a nice suburb on the outskirts of the city. especially if you are raising a family.
