I feel like the radio stations are promoting these lackluster songs. Actually trying to give them credence
I'll be glad when this junk dissipates

Maco don't belong in that group
We need songs like these to balance out the almighty Kendrick Lamar
"Balance out" would mean each type of song is close to each other in the first place. The ratio of "turn up"/substance songs is like 95/5 son
A lot of these songs are so shallow and not about **** that they become easy to forget. I mean how many times have we heard about clubbing, selling coke, and wasting money? After a certain point (which we've passed) the content and the artform have to evolve.
In my opinion, we as consumers have to demand deeper content in music so we get less of these microwave tracks with absolutely no message. I think part of why Kendrick Lamar is still being discussed is because of how multi-layered but still sonically pleasing his songs are.
Repetitive, catchy club tracks have their place but usually It's more fun trying to decipher a deep song than it is to listen to Nicki Minaj repeatedly telling me to 'blow some mo'.
Maco isn't a one hit wonder..
That Zay tape he just dropped is fire.

He only has 1 hit currently. How is he not a 1 hit wonder ??
Future ain't a one hit wonder, though.
