On the heals of the Pluto discovery and comet landing last year, we now have a satellite taking constant pictures of the whole planet. I'm always fascinated that it wasn't until 1959 that any humans saw the dark side of the moon. And now... we get to see it twice a year.

The gif is especially cool getting to see our moon actually in motion from space!
