The U.S. intelligence community is worried that mysterious assassinations and bombings aimed at Iran’s nuclear program may be spurring the Iranian leadership to pursue attacks inside the United States, according to current and former U.S. officials.
On Tuesday, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper toldthe Senate Select Committee on Intelligence that a plot last year to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to the United States “shows that some Iranian officials—probably including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei—have changed their calculus and are now more willing to conduct an attack in the United States in response to real or perceived U.S. actions that threaten the regime.

It's not all CP and illegal %$!#, there's vast amounts of information to read through also. If you're not willing to go to prison for your curiosity, don't click anything you think will get you federal time. You don't just enter the deepweb and get CP and snuff popups, you have to actively look for this stuff.

The feds really focus their time on people who access illegal material a lot and over long periods of time (repeated visits to known CP/weapons/terrorism/hacking sites), and people who share it. Taking a glance at some bad things isn't guaranteed prison time, but some memories and mental images are worse than prison.

There's a lot to do though. A lot. My first time exploring I got lost for hours just digging. Poke around but be careful.

Hrm. The words of a 19th century Confederate officer is that alarming? Since he made his "prediction" we've had WWI, WWII, and the Cold War. I wonder if there were people claiming Revelations during any of the conflicts in the past century.

Updated: 11:14 a.m. ET -- Deadly attacks on Iranian nuclear scientists are being carried out by an Iranian dissident group that is financed, trained and armed by Israel’s secret service, U.S. officials tell NBC News, confirming charges leveled by Iran’s leaders.

The group, the People’s Mujahedin of Iran, has long been designated as a terrorist group by the United States, accused of killing American servicemen and contractors in the 1970s and supporting the takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran before breaking with the Iranian mullahs in 1980.

The attacks, which have killed five Iranian nuclear scientists since 2007 and may have destroyed a missile research and development site, have been carried out in dramatic fashion, with motorcycle-borne assailants often attaching small magnetic bombs to the exterior of the victims’ cars.

U.S. officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the Obama administration is aware of the assassination campaign but has no direct involvement.

The Iranians have no doubt who is responsible – Israel and the People’s Mujahedin of Iran, known by various acronyms, including MEK, MKO and PMI.
