Yeah that was a dope way to start the song. Its like I want to be a fan of his cause lyrically dude is real nice and his beats are nice but dude is boring as hell. He just doesnt get my attention. The only time he got my attention was on Lookin For Trouble. The album is solid though.

Man I can't even imagine narrowing it down to 3 songs.

It's like asking me for my top 3 Jigga songs... there's just TOO many.

Before I'm Gone
Farewell
Grown Simba
I Get Up
Get Away
Relaxation
The Come Up (Grammy Family)
'Til Infinity
Throw It Up

Those would be my first category of favorite Cole tracks.

2nd group:

Split You Up
Welcome
Royal Flush
Last Call
Villematic
Enchanted
Cost Me A Lot
Premeditated Murder
It Won't Be Long
Knock On Wood
Be
Playground

I'm not even including anything from the new album yet.

%%*#!@ be thinking I'm "trolling" in the other thread.

Dude is the 2nd best rapper ever, behind Jay-Z.

I know about Nas, I know about BIG. The thing with Cole is that he has the highest percentage of quality tracks EVER.

This #%%$# spits so nice on 80% of the songs he records.

Real talk, I could take that second category of my favorite Cole tracks and put it next to anybody's career catalog (except Jay, BIG, Nas), and I'll say it's better.

I'm coppin' 5 albums.

Just wanna get this in:

All these Cole fans came out of nowhere in the past week. All these dudes/females are suddenly "anxious" for the Cole album when they've been waiting a week or two. We have to adapt to it now, because the %%@!% is no longer on the bleachers, dude gettin' burn now.

Shout out to all the people that been waiting for years.

Shout out to all the cats that know about "The Come Up."

Shout out to all the cats that have played "The Warm Up" a thousand times and memorize the @$@$ out of that mixtape.

Our %%@!% Cole finally made it.

x infinity.

This album releasing is like when LeBron will finally get his ring. It was bound to happen, it was just a matter of time.

Had to work overnight last night at the gig to set up for the Chicago Marathon.....

Had a lil J. Cole Marathon of my own, bumped The Come Up, The Warm Up, Friday Night Lights all before 12am....Once it hit 12 I threw on Cole World: Sideline Story

Felt so good to know the kid made it to today, everything he has been hoping for, he finally was able to put out that finished product, and man was that *!%$ finished

My Reaction When I'll Go Cop Today:

Wish em nothing but success, this is the first of many Classic J. Cole Albums

Got my copy on Saturday, been bumping ever since. It's a great album but not flawless I'm a bit dissapointed in the 'Cole World' track, it's skipable, the title deserved a better song

Wait is "Rise & Shine" the song Cole really wanted the hov feature on. Because this @+#@ sounds tailor made for Hov to catch wreck on...........

After a two-year wait and mounting expectations, Jay-Z’s 26-year-old protégé J. Cole gets off the bench and steps into the spotlight with his Roc Nation debut Cole World: The Sideline Story, in stores today. The North Carolina MC assembles an all-star team of talent including Jay-Z, Missy Elliott, Drake, and Trey Songz on the 16 tracks. Does the hip-hop freshman have what it takes to play in the big leagues? The critics weigh in.

Rolling Stone: He’s a technically superb rapper, packingthese sleek, snappy, mostly self-produced tracks with dozens of great punch lines. But while he tries to wring pathos out of everything from career struggles to unplanned pregnancies, the melodrama feels rote; the rhymes hit the mark but the stories leave you cold. 3.5/5

Entertainment Weekly: Bigger names in hip-hop have released albums this year, but few trump this debut. Cole, who’s been studying under label head Jay-Z for two years, seems to have learned plenty. Cole World: The Sideline Story is a well-rounded effort, and deeper than most, offering cuts that tackle unplanned pregnancy (“Lost Ones
