All hip hop said roughly 250k. I hope so the haters can shut up.

at you agreeing with the then totally contradicting yourself.
@ cotter07 and Da R Entertainment - If you've followed an artist since day one ans you would like to see them succeed why wouldn't you want to be apart of them having the number 1 album title as well as moving units. That's like saying you want Obama to be president but not go out and vote because his changes won't affect you.
I gotcha. Reasonable Doubt didn't go Platinum til 2002 and I don't think a lot of people are aware.Originally Posted by Da R Entertainment

His music doesn't stand out in any way. Just as a whole, he doesn't make great music, it doesn't suck either...it's just okay. Funny thing is I can relate to a lot of the stuff Cole raps about in his songs, but his music just doesn't leave any lasting impact on me where I feel like I have to listen to it again.Originally Posted by JD161616

Opinion is opinion...but just for reference, who would you consider an above average rapper to great rapper at this point in hip hop?
being able to "out rap" anyone =/= making good music.Originally Posted by OnTheNephs
COLE IS NOT MEDIOCORE RAPPER, dont get it twisted Cole is a wicked lyricist and can pretty much out rap anyone in the game. Its CONTENT that he lacks-lacked on this debut.
His subject matter will get repetitive really quick if he does not explore his artistic or creative side.

Y'all confuse lyricism and saying catchy $!$% in a verse with making good music.

Who i consider a great rapper is irrelevant. But as far as the up and comers...guys like Krit, Kendrick Lamar, Dom, and Childish Gambino are just better at making good music. Not necessarily rapping....but making good music.
