J.Cole is gonna kill himself with that no featured artist stunt. Dude could be big if he had a good singer on the hook of a single a la B.o.B.'s Nothin' On You or Airplanes. Hopefully his mind will change because the chorus of the songs I've heard is what's lacking.

Exactly. I use to figure when I see one it'd be on the album or a mixtape but that can disappoint. Hopefully someone gathers them and makes a mixtape like A %##%% From the Ville.
I don't mind it. I honestly feel that's what Drake should've done if he wasn't going to go the Kanye first album route. Sometimes on your first joint we just trying to hear you at your best (faults and all). If he feels his hooks/choruses are good enough then I want to hear the finished product as is.

I totally disagree and think that it is refreshing to see an artist not just go for the trend of getting the hottest R&B singer or overused rapper of the moment to make a guest appearance on his album. He is talented enough as an artist to hold it down on his own and I am glad to see he is passionate about making quality music instead of just going for sales with a million and one guest appearance.

I don't like B.o.B at all. Dude's flow and how he raps just seems off and funny (not the ha ha kind). I understand it's different like how Wale's flow is different but his doesn't sound good to me.
