Man, whenever I go back and look at these old WCW Shows, whenever Konnan GOT on the mic the place would go wild. It was crazy man, his pre-match energy was on another level.

The thing I respect about him NOW, is the fact that he isn't an old dude that is out of touch with how the wrestler of today is different than the wrestler of yesterday.

He is the Anti-Cornette. He embraces the Spot Monkey nature of today's business but I feel it IS easier for HIM to do so since he is of the Lucha Background.

Absolutely who knows where half the stars we enjoy today be without him. He still does alot in the industry and helps the business grows. He worked LU AAA and Impact. Helped stars like lucha brother, both LAXs, ricochet just to name a few.

Since I can't remember much from the mid to late 90's I only know Konnan from his LAX/TNA days. I've seen a little footage from WCW when he was US champ with his pre "187" gimmick though.

Yea I’m not mad at it at all either. It’s an organic push that’s happening, and it makes sense. Once Survivor Series blows over, that’s the real test (if she officially ends up on the main roster)



Yea despite it looking like 4 on 2, it was a star making performance you can understand, and they need more of those. The heels winning would’ve made sense but would’ve been more of the same and took some wind out of Rhea’s rise.

Props to Rhea for making the decision to change up her look on her own. She would’ve been Big Candice had she stuck with the bubbly Aussie CAW gimmick.

IDK if it would have taken the wind out of her sails. Could have confronted Dakota on Wednesday and ask why she did what she did which forced them to fight overwhelming odds.
