"Hey Josh!"

How does "Wait and See" work when it comes to a TALENT?

For example, Kenny Omega ( Case Case ) has looked NORMAL in AEW and has many people wondering if his Best Bouts in NJPW were a result of him having great opponents vs. him really being an Elite Talent.
When you say normal are you speaking on the quality of his matches or how he's been booked?

I am sure Case Case would agree, NOTHING Kenny Omega has done since he left NJPW has made an IMPACT ( Peep Game Peep Game , noblekane noblekane ).

So help me figure out if we need to "Wait and see" if Kenny Omega is (still) the Best Bout Machine

Ain’t waiting for ****..Okada is the Best Bout Machine..Kennynis am above average talent who can’t sell to save his life..

There's a lot to unpack here, so excuse any typos I make:

.....I'm going to assume you're talking about his match quality based on this response. Imo, this topic is almost purely opinion based so there's really no right or wrong answer, but there is some objective information out there that I feel contradicts the opinion that Kenny hasn't had or made a big "impact" since leaving NJPW. I'm only going to provide information that can be proven and fact-checked to avoid endless arguments of opinion disguised as facts since I feel that it's redundant.

The most obvious peace of evidence that Kenny has made an "impact" would simply be him being on a weekly tv show in the US. That's exposed him to the biggest potential audience/market in the world. There are more eyes on TNT than there are on AXS TV or NJPW's streaming site. That's not even getting into the ads and promos aired during other programming on the channel and other Turner Networks.

As far as how he's been booked I think he's in a unique position where he has to help guys get over while also maintaining a sense of prestige for himself. I've seen people say that he's been booked like a jobber when he's only lost to the current champ, Moxley, and PAC. All of whom have winning records in the AEW rankings, all while keeping a winning record himself (7-5). This is where I say a big problem amongst the IWC is the conflation of facts with opinions. If this was the NFL, a team with a 7-5 record would be in the playoff running and be considered a contender for their division's title, but with AEW it's different....somehow......

TL;DR Continue to "wait and see" or not it's up to you
