WWE sets up shop in Milwaukee for Raw on Nov. 26.

The Headliner(s)
In the week since Survivor Series, WWE’s seemed to double-down on booking their women’s division in “cheer who you want” fashion. Raw Women’s champ Ronda Rousey is driven to deal with a couple of ladies over on the blue brand, and since she can’t get her hands on Charlotte Flair or Becky Lynch right now (I mean, it’s totally impossible for Raw and SmackDown Superstars to go one-on-one when it’s not Survivor Series, right?), she’s left to trade trash talk in promos and on Twitter. Her rhetoric isn’t going to win her many new fans, but it’ll fire up her existing ones, along with those who resent The Man’s popularity.

The exception is Ronda’s next opponent, “Facebreaker” Nia Jax. She earned her title shot at Evolution, and her new nickname during the ‘go home’ for the last pay-per-view (PPV). But Nia’s character transitioned to heel-dom before she caught Becky with a straight right. Jax betrayed Ember Moon and formed a twin towers-like alliance with Tamina. Busting Lynch’s nose just added real world fuel to the fire.

And let’s face it, Nia needed that. She doesn’t quite get the crickets her new partner does, but for as much as she moves the needle for WWE in mainstream circles, Jax has failed to catch on with folks who buy tickets to wrestling shows - as a heel or a face. Her rematch with Ronda probably would have been viewed with even more apathy if she hadn’t broken the hottest act in the business’ face a couple weeks back. Now she’s a heel, and one getting big reactions too.

What to do with her?

My main man Geno Mrosko broke down the fan dilemma regarding Nia over the weekend, but the bookers don’t have anything to debate. A heel’s job is to put over the babyface. Ride the “facebreaker” heat all the way to TLC. Once there, have Rousey dispatch her - fast or slow, doesn’t really matter. Although a decent showing leave her wth some credibility should they decide to sell Becky’s revenge in January. I’d still have Ronda win pretty quickly, as it both sends a message and leaves time for Rowdy to exchange some glances and/or words with the wrestlers she should be facing at the Rumble and WrestleMania - Charlotte & Becky.

After Phoenix, Nia doesn’t need to be on screen to be valuable to WWE. No one at broadcaster conventions or anti-bullying rallies is going to boo her for being a sloppy worker. She’ll be a valuable piece of the puzzle for the next few weeks. Then she can move out of the way while we cheer or jeer whichever side of the Ronda vs. the Queen or the Man program we like.

The title scene
He’s off this month, but Universal champion Brock Lesnar will have his eye on the upcoming Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin match. Okay, Lesnar won’t - that’s what he pays Paul Heyman for. So the Advocate will be keeping tabs on how Strowman’s elbow operation goes. We’ll be watching to see how big of a jackass Corbin makes of himself while crowing about causing the Monster Among Men’s injury in kayfabe.

Speaking of crowing, Intercontinental titleholder Seth Rollins’ is spending a lot of time saying he’s The Man, even as all signs point to that nickname belonging to somebody else. I guess it’s just the latest example of how Dean Ambrose’s betrayal, use of Roman Reigns’ leukemia in promos and general mind games are really getting to the Kingslayer (does Seth still have that nickname?). Rollins will need to get his head on straight before Ambrose comes for his belt in San Jose on Dec. 16. And what better way than OPEN CHALLENGE?!?!

Somebody is coming for AOP’s tag team championship tonight. Chad Gable & Bobby Roode beat Akam & Rezar in non-title action last week, so you know what that means. In case you’ve been thinking up “pee pants” jokes to direct at AOP’s manager and don’t know, it means they get a shot at the belts.

Other stuff to keep an eye on+
- Another 205 Live crossover act has been giving Elias fits, so after Lio Rush baited him in to being counted out of last week’s show-opening elimination tag, this week Elias goes one-on-one with Rush’s client, Bobby Lashley. Who, btw, WWE wants us to call “The All Mighty”. I’m not feeling it, but your mileage may vary.

- Whether it’s because he’s outgrown Dolph Ziggler or becaue the Show-Off allegedly has a foot injury, Drew McIntyre is moving on without his tag partner. Eventually that should lead to big things for the Scottish Psychopath. For now, it seems to be leading to a feud with Finn Bálor.

- Sasha Banks & Bayley do still exist, although they’re kind of in the same boat as The Revival. The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection did the job for Nia & Tamina last week. Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder put Lucha House Party over.

- At least Banks & Bayley can rejoin that Natalya vs. Riott Squad feud which probably isn’t over after Natty’s roll-up win against Ruby Riott last week. Not sure where the once-Top Guys go next.

Three weeks until TLC!

What will you be looking for on Raw tonight?

I used to want to sit on embers face. Man have times changed.

Real talk.

Her shucking and jiving brother D Fly D Fly pointed out a while back turned me all the way off on her.

And after our resident ghost dropped the "beat the Gamestop outta her" gem I can't unsee her behind a Gamestop counter telling you about the trade in specials they have that week.

Nah Drew needs to be elevated somehow. Put that belt on *looks up roster* uhhhh....Finn, Lashley, or The Constable. Have him book himself for defenses and rings the bell for a DQ every time.

Putting the IC title on him is elevating him though..But I wouldn't be mad at Finn having the belt either..He definitely has much better matches than Lashley, Corbin, Dolphin, etc etc..

IC Title run for Drew would be cool. I think folks take him serious, but to prevent the, "Ginger Route" let him get built up slowly

Finally getting around to watching Starrcade. They edited more than just matches. They cut Flair's promo WAY down. He was going on about how Elias reminded him of Space Mountain back in the day, and he had a line about "Elias, you could have any woman in the world...except Charlotte. You stay away from her."
