January Wrestling Thread/Tonight NXT 8PM EST/RIP Mean Gene Okerlaud

would ya prefer the ladies to wear something closer to...

no glitz or glam, just sport attire

I AM bothered that the MAJORITY of them have to and/or feel the need/pressure to wear prostitute clothings while competing.

WON: IMPACT officials did not want their current World Tag Team Champions potentially losing to NXT Superstars. IMPACT considers EVOLVE to be close enough to a WWE product that it doesn’t make sense to have two of their top stars working on a show that may at some point end up on the WWE Network.

LAX was pulled from the 12/15 and 12/16 Evolve shows. The basic gist is that IMPACT didn’t want its tag team champions working on a streaming show, that could end up on the WWE Network, losing to guys who are developmental talents (The Street Profits) that WWE isn’t using as one of its top tag teams. Also, IMPACT sees Evolve in its current form as a part of WWE.

Good point, but do you really think Lana, Paige, the Bellas, etc were "pressured" to wear what they have :lol? Women like to feel good and sexy, and at the end of the day, there's still a male audience you're catering to, even if the WWE likes to pretend it's not there.

WON: Lynch cleared and likely to take some bumps at TLC

Dave updated on the triple threat TLC match, suggesting that Becky is fully cleared for impact.

"The three-way women’s title match will be the first women’s TLC match. While some would question putting Lynch in such a match coming off a significant concussion that has kept her out of action for several weeks, in WWE, the rule of thumb is that if you are cleared, you are cleared. The three-way makes sense because it gives them ways out of the finish without having to compromise Lynch or Flair, and without any of the three having to do a job, given that Flair likely first, and later Lynch, are slated for high profile matches early next year with Ronda Rousey."

Who amongst the ladies do you find has suitable attire for their work environment?

Serious question

Bayley has the best gear to me.

It shows off the curvatures but it is also streamlined/athletic.

Mandy and Scarlette B. , like why are you wearing that in an athletic competition.

Also, At least Bayley TRIES to put her hair up and out of her face

Hair being OUT makes ZERO sense to me

WON: Part of WWE’s working agreements agreed to with the UK promotions are that WWE would have the right for the next several years to purchase the companies for an agreed upon price (high six figures in at least some cases) and then shut them down so they would no longer compete “with themselves”.

Part of the WWE’s working agreements originally offered and agreed to were that WWE would have the right for the next several years, if they choose, to purchase the companies for an agreed upon price (high six figures in at least some cases) and then shut them down so they would no longer compete “with themselves” with the idea that would take place when they were running full-time schedules in those markets.
