I'm always in awe when I see progress pics of rebuilding after disasters happen.  Although they still have a long way to go, they've done more better than I could've imagined in a year.

Yea that was crazy event, I left japan the the day before the earthquake happened. Crazyyyyyy stuff. I hope they get better
 
Happy to see that they've made great progress. I was talking to someone whos Japanese and he says that they definitely still feel the effects (didn't ask what he totally meant by that) of the event, but no one really talks about it too much.

Hoping to head over there within the next 6 months or so. Looking forward to it.

I remember staying up almost all night watching the coverage. Really powerful stuff.
 
Damn man, they gotta break those boats down.
Happy to see progress though. Hopfully we'll look back again next year and it will be beautiful again.
