someone explain to me how Lebron deserves it? i dont see it at all, stats mean nothing because Kobe put up amazing stats the last few years and he didnt evenfinish in the top 3 for voting even after taking a terrible Lakers team to the playoffs. Lebron is the 4th seed in the EAST! and has 43 wins. Since Pistons aresecond seed should we consider Sheed or Billups for MVP then? i guess so.

David Stern needs to come to a venue and have a lecture and needs to take questions so that he can be aware of all of these issues.

i agree CP3 all the wayy this year he has alot less, he has a great year, and his team is the best i dont know how he could not be most valuable. Hornets aretop 5 pick without Paul. I wont argue against Kobe cause he is deservig as well and he will get it, but Paul should win.

How old are you, like 12?

The year Shaq won MVP, he averaged 30 and 14 and the Lakers went 67-15, so how is that a "big joke"? Dude was the most dominant force the game ever seen.

i was implying that shaq should have won more than one mvp.

CP# will win the MVP and not make it to the Western Conf Finals. He deserves it for what he has done for his team in the west and I am a Lakers fan, Kobeshould have gotten it two years ago. The MVP is already a joke!

I've come to a conclusion that 3PLEDOUBLE is really just a back up name for a Laker fan so whenever he post on that name he hopes the Lakers win.

Who hired this chick?

She is horrible!

Seriously...she is the worst writer/on-air personality ever in the history of ESPN...

JM

What if for once, instead of one MVP...but changed it for Kobe and Paul to be Most Valuable People....

Why is it that so many of you feel that Chris Paul is so deserving, yet Steve Nash isnt deserving of his 2 MVPs? They essentially did the same thing withcomparable stats. I do not understand this logic at all. I personally do not feel either of them deserve(d) it.

KOBE for MVP!!!!

If you have followed the Lakers as I have, the MVP belonged to Kobe until he lost it in the last few games starting with the Hornets game when Pau gotinjured, he took 36 shots or something and the team lost. Also, the Lakers lost a few crucial games where Kobe should have stepped up when Pau was out but hedidn't show it.

That's why Chris (even though I don't like his dirty low blows and a sore loser) is the MVP.

don't compare Chris Paul's 08 season to Nash's 05 and 06 seasons. Nash had current All-Stars in Amare and Shawn Marion, and his numbers wereextremely weak compared to MVPs in the past. Chris Paul only has David West, and he is still having one of the greatest individual seasons for a PG in NBAhistory.

People look at Steve Nash's skin color and discredit him

Paul's putting up 21 and 11, plus leads the league in steals. Nash's numbers were never that good, and Nash played with 2 other perennial allstars. Nash has 2 mvp's, let's not make him out to be some kind of victim.
