i just graduated with a BA in English--been sending resumes everywhere in New York. people won't even call me back. the damn temp agency took all myinformation, and they don't have any particular work either. i just applied for the apple store. wish me luck!

i had to quit my job so i could visit my fam for xmas break and i havent been able to get a job since.. hopefully someone from the jobs i been applyin to givesme a call quick cuz rent aint cheap

Man I'm still unemployed. I filed for unemployment last week though, so lets see if I can catch some sort of break for the time being.
Bout to hit up the malls near me, check for anything, anywhere. Times are rough

in all honesty....anyone with those types of degrees should just become teachers or getinto sales...

I hate to say it but this system is soooo stupid

. You go to school for YEARS. Then go to college and have multiple degrees and still get shafted. And theteachers mock entertainers. This is ridiculous.

But they go to Law school....most of those who are doing this now and about to graduate are going toface the hard reality that is that their choice of major was not ideal...

Well that's different, because these lawyers prolly take other classes as pre-reqs on top of their major for law school. I'm in Bio, but I'mthinking now what if I did something else?

The biotech industry is hurting because there are minimal investments being made with how unstable the market is right now

Law
Medicine

These are recession proof.

English majors can go to law school, thats what you should have done. Some of the degrees i see people graduate with are so useless
