I most def love the darker shade than 2001. Makes em love even more classic imo.

Makes sense for them to be darker since coined as OG. 85s didnt have a vibrant red like the '01.

Btw, idk if it's just me but the 01s look like a different size than the 13s. That could explain why there is a difference in height cut.
And really glad they don't have black stitching like the 01s at the heel patch. Very small detail but looks amazing on the 13s to keep colors matching. More OG looking

my only beef with the 2013s is the thin a** ankle padding. that's all newer retros tho. I got a beat pair of 01s but they comfortable as s**t to me. sit better with jeans too

Eh. To each his own. I feel like there was too much and made it look bulky on the 01s. These '13s just look sleek and have the right amount for me.. Actually wish they stuck with the Royals sockliner cause that felt like it had best comfort compared to BT and Sh.

This is not gonna be fun. I'm not buying that these will be a GR. Time to get my Euro sites in line. I haven't been able to COP a single pair of 2013 OG 1's (Royals-duh, shadow's, black toe's) from an online U.S. Retailer and can't see my luck changing. Balls of your feet people.
