I think some people are just scared to get fake pairs from a reseller, since there's always a chance of that happening.

RSVP prices are cheaper then reseller prices in most cases. Resell for these are starting around $300 and up. RSVP services were charging $25 - $50 which keeps you under $200 if successful.
