I feel the same brutha, I already copped these when they were supposed to drop earlier last year, unfortunately the leather isn't all that great and the Nike swoosh is still smaller than the OG's, although it's just a tad bit bigger than previous retros. Either way Black Toes are my fav of the AJ1's , so I'm happy i copped em. lol

Never understood why they just didnt change all the highs to the 85 cut. Too many versions of just one model.

85s cost more to make and a significant number of people don’t like the shape and the leather type.

He wore them for a good handful of weeks during his rookie season. If you google between Jan 25, 1985 through Feb 17, 1985 you’ll see some games. He may have also wore them a game or two in his second season in April 1986. I saw it a couple times in Episode 2 of The Last Dance.
