Nah bro that's exactly how you should wear them. Once I manage to get a pair they are becoming my new everyday kicks. While all shoes are meant to be worn, these are even more so

I might keep them black for a while. But I don't really feel like using acetone, I'm afraid of damaging the red/blue paint.

Although seems like a lot of people have used it just fine, right?

Got my white pair today finally. Awesome shoe. Still need to get another white and double up on the black. The hunt continues.

yes ppl have done it but if you do it wrong you can mess up the entire shoe.

Man I just could not do the acetone route. You go too far and there is no turning back like ole buddy that ripped away the stitches and top layer of leather.

People have recommended Mr. Clean Magic Eraser or 70% isopropyl alcohol. Both will be a much slower process, but less chance of immediate damage. The thing about acetone, you don't know what type of strength people are using. If someone says they're using acetone, it could be a dilute solution.

I think the mindset is different for this shoe compared to other releases. Now, skate up a pair of Bans or Royals and post them in their respective threads the outcome would probably be different. Too many folks with that Gollum mentality.

This is my mentality. I don't skate but I want them to age on their own. I wear all my shoes, but I do baby them. I will have to change my mindset with these.

While I would love for some of the paint to come off naturally, I think the shoes are beautiful on their own so if they remain pure black or white it's all good with me. I unDSed my black pair today and surprisingly the shoes got a compliment from a girl so yea i think they're dope on their own.

that's cool. I think over the time span of years some of the paint will start to come off. it wont happen overnight though

No I actually used the Supreme keychain knife to scrape them off. I love the look, I know people think it's dumb.

Yeah, actually a very comfortable skate shoe. I think I now understand why the shoe was made with such soft leather and very flexible/easily creased. They feel great skating because the shoe is so malleable. 

I think the mindset is different for this shoe compared to other releases. Now, skate up a pair of Bans or Royals and post them in their respective threads the outcome would probably be different. Too many folks with that Gollum mentality.

I like to remind myself they're just shoes and use 'em like I always have. I take care of some and I'm weird about the boxes but I love finding good skate shoes and these look cool as hell.
